A big thank you to everyone who has been asking if we are ok!

Yesterday we did evacuate animals from our Ipswich facilities that saw 76 cats and kittens temporarily relocated to Wacol along with some dogs and puppies. Our volunteers and staff braved the awful conditions to make sure our pets were safe from flooding right across the state.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE FOUND AN ANIMAL

  • Contact your local veterinarian regarding sick or injured animals or the RSPCA 24/7 Emergency Hotline 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 625) regarding injured wildlife.
  • If you have lost or found an animal notify your local Council in the first instance and contact the RSPCA Queensland Lost & Found team on 1300 363 736.
  • For stranded livestock contact Biosecurity Queensland on 13 25 23.
